Hi Magpies!!

Please find attached copy of the 2016 Winter Handbook  [one caveat, AV has changed one of the August dates and it clashes with our 5 Mile, so watch this space].  It will hopefully answer any queries you have about the coming season. As of April 1st you will be able to register with AV for the coming season. There is a somewhat different set up with the rego process this season.

When you login to the AV website you will firstly have to register as a member (less than last year!!).

But then you have to choose form some options. You can sign up for the Winter OR the Summer OR both!

Winter $125 Summer $125 Both $200

You can register for winter now and choose to register for summer at a later date and you will only be required to pay the extra $75 at that time to make up the $200 reduced price!

If you sign up for the winter, the fee includes the entry for all the events in your age group.

There is an option to register for the relays. If you choose the winter option, you DO NOT have to then register for the relays (it is included!)

However you can sign up for the relays (AT NO COST) without registering for the winter program, but you MUST click the option for relays in this case.

The first event of the Winter is on April 9th at Collingwood.

A 2k run for juniors (u/16 males, u/18 females), followed by the Laceby Cecil 6.4k Hcp for seniors will be conducted.
This will be a great warm up for the Cross Country relays at Jells Park the next week.

After the races on the 9th we announce the winners of last season’s Winter Points Awards.

Hope to see you all there.

Please feel free to bring any friends along for a run – everyone is welcome – No Cost.

We do need some officials to help on the day – anyone who can hold a flag and point in the right direction is more than qualified!!

There will be a laptop at the rooms on the 9th to enable people to do their regos if you have been having any trouble.
