Thomas IACONO
Thomas joined the Club in 2010, primarily to have a go at the walks.
He was a regular attendee at training and would peel off a few laps with triple Olympian Bob Gardiner before departing for home.
It is fair to say that Thomas did not always please the judges but certainly improved each time he stepped on the track. He always received a stack of support from his Collingwood clubmates during his races.
When asked of his feelings about the Club, Thomas wrote, “I like Collingwood Harriers because they are friendly and include people with a disability.”
